It would be best to use 16-oz gloves for sparring as they provide enough protection for your hands and sparring partner. Lighter gloves, such as 12-oz, offer more speed and maneuverability during training, while heavier gloves, like 18-oz, offer more overall protection at the cost of size and weight.

Spot On

Been trying many different gloves the past few years. Independent brands and high end brands. The quality, fit, comfort, protection and value MK1 provides has been my favorite combination thus far! The shape is reminiscent of one of the top of the line gloves the pros will rave about down to slightly curved thumb position. Unlike another brand I tried which started smelling after 3 sessions these smell brand new after the same amount of use. I’m very happy with these and can’t wait to add to the collection!

Super comfortable gloves

Ive got a pair of Winnings and its amazing how close these get in terms of comfort. Not exactly the same of course but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair when these wear out.
