It would be best to use 16-oz gloves for sparring as they provide enough protection for your hands and sparring partner.     Thave about 50 pairs of boxing gloves because I'm addicted lol finding a perfect glove is always on my mind. I bought the 14oz brown mk1 select boxing gloves and they are the perfect all around glove by far. When you put your hand in the glove you definitely feel the quality and comfort and they have a great compact feel but are very protective and the look really amazing makes you want to continue to use them. I love these gloves so much they have become my favorite glove.
