Better than every other converter if wider

Hi guys I received the mk1 converter last week. It is a pre-release, test product, and I got it for free + $10 shipping. I guess it would become one of the 2 mainstream converters in the US soon, so heres a review after 5 session, compared against laceNLoop.

TL;DR Build quality is superior to LaceNLoop whose stitching is already going off in 5 month, much more durable, and much more comfortable. The only downside is cost (for me $20 + $10 shipping if in actual sale compared to $25 for laceNLoop on amazon prime), and width.

Build: Most of the places are similar to laceNLoop.

-Velcro: There is a strong velcro, however weaker than laceNLoop, which is actually nice as the laces wont actually be destroyed if they are cotton and stick to velcro, and the velcro is strong enough to hold the glove in sparring and training. There is no eva foam, however, under the loop side of the velcro, but it is definitely thick enough to be durable. This lack of foam compared to LaceNLoop also enables the thing to be crisp, and form a natural cyclinical shape which fits to the glove.

-Material: The main material of the converter is not real leather, however, although the patch looks nice and clean. I smelled chemicals but not leather so yeah. It is not vinyl too, it is something softer than that.

-Advantages in build:

1. Piping. The mk1 features a soft synthetic piping and patch which LaceNLoop does not have. IMO the eva patch on LaceNLoop makes it look so cheap, not to say the badly put together sandwich structure without piping. The piping makes mk1 clean.
2. Elastic strip. It is not 1 strip like LaceNLoop, but in fact 2, both stronger and thicker than laceNLoop, that can stretch over half of the glove's circumference. Much more durable. Love that. It also provides some nice pressure to your wrist. However if you pull a bit too hard the hook part of the velcro can go a bit over to not stick and jump up, which I don't think will cause a large issue in sparring as the pulling strip is foam-like.
3. The pulling thing. It is a piece of stretchy foam feeling thing. Definitely tear-resistant, and feels so great. One thing to note is that the pulling strip's attachment to the converter is single stitching, opposite to LaceNLoop's x style. But I do not think that it is going to cause a dramatic decrease in stitching durability, however, as the material is much better. And imo aethetically it is better.

Style:

Nothing to say. mk1 imo is just so much more minimalistic and clean. LaceNLoop's patch just looks like they are trying to advertise too hard, they cover the whole wrist patch on some gloves, whereas mk1 has a small logo that is well placed and small, not affecting the glove's aethetics.

Width/Pressure on wrist:

In terms of this mk1 and LaceNLoop are similar. Mk1, sadly, is less in width, as you can see in the photo. However, it is more stretchy. So in terms of actual usage both feels similar in terms of pressure.

Overall:

IMO mk1 is better by a small margin.

Currently I am going to give it a 8/10.

-1 for not real leather

-2 for width

+1 extra credit for piping

I got it for 10 bucks so I got nothing to complain.
